my february 2024 playlist

This has been quite a musical month I think. This is potentially a very long post, but the music has been great. We still are not really getting new albums yet, but March is set to be absolutely ladden with them. In the meantime stream Prelude to Ecstasy the best album released this month. That will be in the top 5 released this year and I can say that in February. Continue reading “my february 2024 playlist”

blue books i’ve read recently (part 2) // colour coded reads

The second part of my blue book read. The funny thing is I could do like 3 more months reading just books with blue covers. Why does it feel like 1 in 5 books have a blue covers and why is that? Continue reading “blue books i’ve read recently (part 2) // colour coded reads”

perfumes i’ve picked up recently // fragrance haul

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I am crushing this new years resolution. I am also down like a lot of money but that’s neither here nor there. I love these perfumes dearly, and cannot wait until June to share them all. Mainly because the way this is going, that is set to be a very long post. In depth note breakdowns are via Parfumo. i went to london and bought way too many books, here they are (a book haul) (mostly gay)

This haul was acquired over two trips to Gays the Word in Bloomsbury (I got a free tote bag because I spent over £100 so that’s good I guess), one trip to Skoob, a couple picked up at work, to my local Waterstones and to the same London Waterstones on two different floors (the Piccadilly one). It took me four days. There’s 23 books here. It’s a doozy, carrying the London books back gave me a fair amount of pain. I am on a no book buy until like May now (a lie). I love these books though, I made great choices. If you see any of these in book wishlists that aren’t up yet, no you don’t. i’m once again documenting how i spent my sunday // a productive day at home

My plan for this day was to get some posts done, finish the book I was reading (thus finishing a phase of books) and watch as much Once Upon a Time as possible. It was a pretty successful day on all fronts. Could have been better, and it was pretty to the wire but I did those things. I deliberated whether or not I wanted to post this, but I’ve wrote it now so why the hell not? Continue reading “i’m once again documenting how i spent my sunday // a productive day at home”

the skincare routine i use when my face needs an extreme fix // heavy duty night time skincare

My skin has been clearing up as of late generally speaking, but it does still have moments when it needs some tlc. I know I like just did a skincare routine, but this is the routine I use at night when I need to focus on deep, extreme breakouts. So it’s different. i spent 25 hours in london. this is what i did, and bought

I went to London for a day and a half to go to a play, a gig and then spend a lot of money. Here are those two days. I really do suck at taking pictures of things at the moment. The ‘what i did’ portion of this post won’t be too long. The ‘what I bought’ aspect on the other hand is a bit of a doozy. I stand by the things I bought, I do not stand by the amount of money I spent. Continue reading “i spent 25 hours in london. this is what i did, and bought”

an early spring empties // products i’ve used up literally just this month

I did one of these a month ago, how do I already have enough for another instalment? RIP to my bank account. A lot of these I am very happy to see the end of, I’ve been picking a few duds recently. Only a couple of the items here I’ve repurchased. Continue reading “an early spring empties // products i’ve used up literally just this month”

a productive day in my life (at home) (again)

Y’all I’m sorry I like doing these posts a lot. And so I’m going to keep on doing them until I get sick of it or just totally forget to. I had 10 posts scheduled, my aim for the day was to get that up to 15. I also wanted to watch as much of Once Upon a Time season 2 as possible and read a book. A pretty easy day I think. As always I worked in 30 minute increments. Continue reading “a productive day in my life (at home) (again)”
