I went to Ikea with my parents to look for a sofa bed and soon started noting all the items I like most for a future home. Even though it does not look like I’m moving out any time soon, it’s good to have thoughts, and it’s fun. My future house is going to look so weird y’all. This batch of books took me a long long time to read. Really only like 3 weeks but for me 3 weeks is a while for 15 books. Granted I was recovering from my operation for 2 of these weeks but still. There are a range of books here but they were all written by Asian authors. A few of these books I’ve had for years and it’s great to have finally read them. Pop stars are returning to pop music. When I say pop star I mean true stars. They have to be unique and fun, bring visuals, good live performance and whose music is transcending the pop scene in someway. Doing their own thing rather than copying existing trends. Exemplar pop stars to me are Britney and Katy and so that’s kind of the reference I’m using here. I feel like we went a long time without a true fun pop star but it’s coming back and these are my favourites (if you’ve seen any music post from me during the last like year this will not surprise you. I am in a sweatshirt mood. I have never like valued them before but for some reason, this winter I just think they’re really cool and I want a bunch. Over my surgical recovery, I really just lived in all my hoodies and took a picture of them to show y’all the ones I have. Which is only a few, I am very much building the collection. A combination of the Actors and Writers strikes this summer and the major delay in my operation meant that there was a lot of new tv that I delayed talking about (and some far less new tv that I have only now watched). It is finally time for me to talk about them. There were a few shows that I watched in regular time, but I did spend my surgical recovery watching a new season of something a day. Or at least trying to. These shows were all created by incredibly talented people and it’s only fair that they are given what they should be owed for their great work. It feels like every time I get back into a Sims mood, I do a post with the new custom content I’ve found. But if I’m looking for it for myself, I may as well share it on here too. This time around my focus was more on homestuff, so there is more of that than usual. Although it is mostly clothes. I really didn’t need more clothing right now, I’m pretty happy with the clothes in the game I’m playing. But I’ll probably need to create a new sim soon and will get them to wear these things.
