I am in my eating era. I am eating a lot and not super healthy foods either. This is actually a pretty restrained day for me right now. I both have and want to do a major overhaul of my makeup and general beauty products. Not everything, there are some key products that I want to keep but there is a lot going out or new things that I want to bring in. I want to change the colours I use and switch up in that department, I’ve been working within the same colour range for a while and it’s time to change that I think. I love Lady Gaga, I remember seeing the video for Just Dance for the first time so clearly and I was just enamoured. I knew nothing about fan culture, but I knew Lady Gaga fans were called Little Monsters so my first Twitter name had Little Monster in it. I may not be a hard core fan but I have been here and I think it’s time I dedicated a post to my favourite songs of hers (in no particular order). I would like to preface this post, by saying that I have not listened to Joanne. It simply does not interest me. I listen to every other Gaga album a lot and love them, but Joanne will be entirely omitted here because I truly don’t think I’ve heard a single song from it. I am getting fatigue from doing this colour thing hard. But at the same time I finish a colour and get all excited/mad about the books I didn’t read in that colour. I only did 10 black books and I have a lot of them but some really good books fell through the cracks. For next time I guess. This is a really good batch of books still. I think I only kept two of them because I’m trying to be so particular with the books I have but they were all still good. I am writing this a long time after finishing the post and I don’t want the post to have like no information in it but I also have no memory of the plot of these books it’s been so long. My first draft of this post had a whole spiel about the word trend and how I actually have no idea what’s actually trending, and just kind of pick up on a few odd things that I see repetitively on Pinterest and Tiktok. Then I saw someone’s Youtube video titled ‘what’s trending in my world’ and it perfectly described what I was doing here. Here are some things that are trending to me right now, mostly that I’m seeing a ton on the aforementioned socials but also things I’ve picked up from shows and films that I like a lot. I’ve tried to go with things that I’ve not mentioned before so as to not be repetitive for once but there are for sure threads in a lot of my recent fashion posts. I don’t think it’s been too long since I last did one of these, but long enough for a couple things to be different and for me to want to share the differences. Okay I did the intro then wrote out the products and there are a lot of differences. My makeup has been looking kinda bad recently and I think I’m starting to figure out why and make differences accordingly. I have had this post idea for about 3 years. Truly I think I first thought to do this in quarantine 2020 when I started to get into Depop. Really it’s just a collection of vintage dresses I like, and a couple pairs of heels. It covers the night portion of dates and cocktail parties. Day dates are just your regular clothes or work out gear. As I usually do with these Depop posts, I will make the information for the pieces (the uploader and price) viewable, some of these things have been purchased though. As I honestly just did a deep dive into my Depop likes. I am very picky with the fancy dresses I like and so this post took me as long to put together as it did to think about doing it. This is a fantasy post so I did not really care about sizing or price when looking at these items. BANKS is one of my favourite artists ever. No matter what mood I’m in I am always happy to listen to her music and just be totally lifted. I think her music is so interesting and different and in my opinion entirely influential on other artists. Like I think her first album had a profound impact on following artists. No one was doing what she was doing until she did it. I want to talk about her 4 albums, share my favourite songs from them and rank them potentially. Saying anything mean about her albums is going to hurt my soul but my least favourite BANKS album is still an album that is above like 90% of other albums in my eyes.
